Shimizu North America LLC, as a U.S. subsidiary of Shimizu Corporation of Japan, benefits from a history of nearly two hundred years. Since its roots in 1804, when Kisuke Shimizu opened a small carpentry shop in Tokyo, Japan, Shimizu Corporation has developed into one of the leading design-build firms in the world. Today, Shimizu Corporation employs a force of more than 11,000 people in over 40 nations, including approximately 100 staff members of Shimizu North America LLC.

With more than 30 years of experience in the continental USA, Shimizu North America LLC has steadily grown to include office locations in New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles. In addition, in order to cater to the needs of our clients, Shimizu North America LLC has extended its activities in Mexico through its Mexico branch.
